Every piece in this shop was made by hand, by someone we can name. Stoneware from our own kiln, throws from a mill in Cape Breton, candles poured on rainy Mondays. Nothing here was rushed, and you can feel it.

Since 2019

A small shop with one kiln

Harbor Goods started as a folding table at the Lunenburg farmers market. Mae Tanner threw pots at night after her shift at the boatyard, and the table kept selling out before ten in the morning. The shop at 148 Water Street came two years later, along with a secondhand kiln named Gladys that still fires every batch.

We keep the range small on purpose. Six or seven shapes, two glazes a season, and one shelf of things made by friends: wool from Inverness County, beeswax from a farm past Mahone Bay. If something is in the shop, one of us has used it at home first. That is the whole test.

Shipping and returns, plainly

Flat rate, then free

$12 anywhere in Canada, free over $150. Orders leave the shop within two days, packed by whoever is closest to the tape gun.

Wrapped, not padded

Paper, wood wool, and string. No plastic anywhere in the box, and the box itself is worth keeping.

Thirty days to decide

Return anything unused within thirty days for a full refund. Seconds and sale pieces included, no questions beyond curiosity.

Once a month

The shop letter

One email a month, written by Mae. Restock dates, new glazes, and whatever came out of the kiln wrong but interesting. About 2,400 neighbours read it.
