FORGE

Performance training club Capped at 120 members

A coached strength and conditioning club in the old rail district. Eight coaches, no drop-ins, no open gym crowds. When a spot opens, the assessment decides who takes it.

The standard

Every rep counted. Every session coached. Nobody trains alone.

We opened FORGE because big gyms taught people to wander. Here you train in a block of twelve, a coach runs the clock, and your numbers go in the book. If you miss two weeks, your coach calls you before we call your spot.

That is the whole pitch. Structure, supervision, and a room where the standard does not drop just because you are tired. Members stay an average of three years, and most of the waitlist comes from their referrals.

  • 01No mirrors on the training floor
  • 02Music stays low until the last set
  • 03Phones live in the lockers
  • 04Every block starts on the minute

Programs

Four programs. One floor.

Every member trains inside a program written by a coach who watched you move. Flip a card to see what a week actually looks like.

Foundation

Start here

Twelve weeks of barbell mechanics, positions, and base conditioning. Where every member starts, whatever they lifted before.

A week in Foundation

  • MonSquat and hinge patterns, empty bar to working sets
  • WedPress, pull, and loaded carries
  • FriFull coached session with video review
  • PlusOne open floor hour, coach present

Graduation is a movement screen, not a calendar date.

Engine

Conditioning

Built on airbike, erg, and sled. Heart rate tracked, paces assigned, and not a minute of junk volume.

A week in Engine

  • TueIntervals at your assigned pace
  • ThuMixed circuits, eight stations
  • SatOne long grind, capped at forty minutes
  • PlusRecovery targets checked every block

Paces retest every sixth week. The numbers do not lie.

Iron

Strength

For people who want a number: squat, bench, deadlift, press. Percentages set from your last test, not a guess.

A week in Iron

  • MonHeavy triples on the main lift
  • WedVolume work at eighty percent
  • FriTop single, then back-off sets
  • PlusTest week every ninth week

Your log lives in the book. Coaches sign every test.

Combine

Field sport

Speed and power for field sport athletes. Sprints, jumps, and change of direction, in season and out.

A week in Combine

  • TueAcceleration and max speed work
  • ThuJumps, throws, and landings
  • SatTesting day or team session
  • PlusLoad managed around your game calendar

We talk to your club coach so nobody trains you twice.

The numbers

Run like an interval timer.

We publish these because gyms love to hide them. The cap is the product. When we say full, we mean full.

Members

0

Hard cap. Not a target, a ceiling.

Coaches on floor

0

One per block of twelve, minimum.

Sessions a week

0/wk

Every one coached, start to finish.

On the waitlist

0

Order of assessment, no exceptions.

The coaches

Two of the eight.

Every coach here trains in the room they coach in. These two run the floor most mornings.

Head coach

Ingrid Halvorsen

Fourteen years under the bar, ten of them coaching. Ran the strength room at a university program before opening FORGE. Writes Iron and Foundation, and still squats in the 05:30 block.

Conditioning lead

Dane Iversen

Former 1500 metre runner who found the airbike and never left. Builds Engine block by block, keeps the paces honest, and holds the club record on the ski erg. Ask him about it, he will tell you anyway.

How to join

Assessment first. Always.

We do not sell day passes and we do not do tours on the training floor. Three steps, in order, for everyone.

Book the assessment

Forty minutes with a coach: movement screen, training history, and what you want out of the next year. $40, credited to your first month if you join.

Get your placement

Within two days your coach sends a placement letter: which program, which blocks, and why. If we are at cap, you join the waitlist in order of assessment.

Train the first month

Three coached sessions a week and a sit-down at week four. If it is not working for either side, we say so and part square.
